Helping people bring their stories to life is an exciting and deeply rewarding experience for everyone involved.
I love a good yarn and have over 30 years experience as an author, journalist and family historian. A second generation genealogist, I joined the Society of Australian Genealogists aged 17 and my passion for personal, family and local history has grown with every memoir, family history project and book commission.From 2004 to 2015 I worked for my family’s genealogy and asset recovery company, Worthington Clark Pty Ltd. I have a BA Communications/Public Relations from Charles Sturt University, a Genealogical Research Certificate from the Society of Australian Genealogists and am a Justice of the Peace (NSW).
Projects for clients across corporate, media, NFP, government and private individuals include award winning historical travelling exhibition ‘100 years of caring – NSW Health’; local history publication ‘Waugoola to Woodstock’ featuring a historic property in Central West NSW; and many large family history research projects. Past clients include Fairfax Media, Good Taste Publishing (NSW), Highlife Publishing Pty Ltd, Sotheby’s Australia, National Trust of Australia (NSW), The Committee for Economic Development of Australia (CEDA), Corrs Australian Solicitors, New South Wales Health, Pratt Industries, Sir Asher Joel KBE, AO and many others
Professional memberships include: Society of Australian Genealogists; the Association of Professional Genealogists (APG); Royal Australian Historical Society; National Trust of Australia (NSW) and the Berrima District Historical Society. I live in the Southern Highlands of New South Wales with my husband, photographer Ashley Mackevicius.
